Technology The Highway 101 corridor is shaping up to become one of the top 50 metropolitan areas in the United States for technology output. Development of diverse telecommunications, Internet, biomedical and interactive technology companies has created a fully emerging technology region. The emerging Highway 101 high-tech corridor dominated the 2000 list of finalists on Deloitte & Touche's list of the fastest-growing technology companies in the Los Angeles area. Twenty of the 50 finalists are located along Highway 101 from Calabasas through Santa Barbara County. |
