Education Committee will meet Wednesday, March 3, at the Chamber’s Conference Center at 3:45 p.m. Experience the various avenues of education this committee participates in. The committee is finalizing fundraising efforts to provide for six graduating senior’s scholarships. Keep an eye open for a mailer asking for donations.

Try Your Hand at BINGO at the March Networking Breakfast
Friday, March 5, 7 - 9 a.m. at Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road (at the 101 freeway), Thousand Oaks. Registration and breakfast begin at 6:45 a.m. An early bird drawing takes place at 7 a.m. The breakfast is sponsored by Conejo Awards. Breakfast emcee is Dave Burns of Cover 2 Cover Music.
Register early and save! Prepaid reservations are due by 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 3. Chamber members pay $20 and will be listed on the Networking Hot Sheet and a copy will be emailed to them. Non-members pay $30. Payment AFTER 2 p.m. March 3 and at the door is $27 for members and $37 for non-members.

Door Prize Opportunity: Get more exposure for your business by donating an item for the raffle portion of the event. Door prizes must be a stand alone item (no discount coupons) with a minimum value of $40. Wine & Beer Tasting Fundraiser
Purchase tickets for the upcoming Wine and Beer Tasting Fundraiser on Saturday, March 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Whole Foods - Thousand Oaks, 740 N. Moorpark Rd. Come see what Whole Foods' wine and beer vendors have to offer along with great appetizers.
All proceeds will be donated back to the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Community Foundation under the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber Changes Name to Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber announces that it is changing its name from Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce to Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors recently voted unanimously to change the name, and the general membership was asked vote on the new name last week.
Why Change?
Beginning January 1, 2010, the Chamber expanded its city contracts to include not only Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village, but also Agoura Hills. The new name is more inclusive of its entire geographic area of service.
Mandatory Labor Law Compliance Materials Available from the Chamber
If you have even one employee, both California and Federal laws require that you post certain notices for your employee. All required notices are available on a single 28 x 58-inch poster, available for purchase from the Chamber (in English or Spanish).
